Day 469 Banky vibes

4 day weekend. I feel so sorry for anyone that has to work mainly because everyone around them will be cheering on the weekend which would just make you more miserable. I have to remember today is not a Friday but my god, the vibes are great.

Day 468 Pain for gain

Due to a social life I haven’t been to the gym in a week. Yesterday I dragged myself to what turned out to be a workout from hell. I could have cried in the corner. Obviously to the outside world I looked normal (relatively) but inside I was whimpering asking ‘why am I even here?’ Then I went home and had quiche.

Day 467 Chicks gone wild

So the chick in the window looks like it was born in a nuclear plant. It’s become a toxic chick but I love it. I’ve been super hyped today because i’ve made a super cheesy sandwich special. I fought for this sandwich. Mother isn’t a fan of gluttony but I am.

I woke up this morning and when I realised it’s Friday a smile slowly formed on my face. This is strange i’m not usually one to have a ‘Friday feeling’ but hey, there you go. I have made mild plans for the weekend because I haven’t had the time to plan anything. I do wish there were more hours in the day.

Day 463 Hold him down

I went to the vets yesterday and put my dog in a head lock while the vet administered jabs into his rear end. Other than that the evening was uneventful. This evening I will be dining at Fatt Pundit in Covent Garden. I tend not to go there anymore because it makes me feel like an ant. and well.. I’m queen bee.

Ever since I was a child I’ve hated sleeping in silence, so I put my laptop on and nowadays I watch Netflix. My show of choice at the moment is Come dine with me. A classic. I feel a little off kilter today because my weekend sleeping schedule was backwards. The rain seems to be keeping many indoors so i’m able to ease myself into the week. Is anyone else tired of being on hold to some kind of ‘service provider’. I use parentheses because I wouldn’t be calling if said service had taken place.

Day 460 The morning after

Though I hate to say it, there’s been a real Friday feeling in the deli. Everyone seems relaxed and just happy. It could all be a façade but hey… i’ll take it. Sun is out but it’s bitterly cold. I’m still full from my all American dinner last night. I’m in need of some deli nutrition today.

I was relatively inactive yesterday because I was on a Netflix binge. I finished season 2 of Top Boy. Wow, great stuff. I am currently on hold with Thames Water and I’ve been trying to contact SSE too. Pardon my aggression this lunchtime, the frustration is real.

It’s been one of those debating days. Each customer that comes in seems to want an opinion on a topic that’s on their mind. I have a slightly toxic trait, I play devils advocate very convincingly. In fact I won’t actually admit in the end what opinion I hold because it’s more fun.

No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get it together yesterday. Now, obviously i’m always stella at my occupation (we all know this) so it was quite entertaining for people to watch me struggle. It’s nearly April and my year has already got me begging for a holiday!

Yesterday was a mission. I was so tired and emotionally drained but alas today is Friday and my chakras are aligned again. I hit my head on the coffee machine this morning but we move through the obstacles God throws at us and i’m determined to stay hyped.

I cycled to Fulham yesterday evening and then decided to go for a drink at the pub. Long story short I’ve had little sleep but i’m still on top form. You see, I’m a responsible adult now, so when responsibility calls my mind will do what it needs to do to survive.

I’m relying on the sun to bring good vibes. I’m feeling optimistic that today will be organised and stress free. This morning I was still on a high from my cycle last night. Now i’m high on adrenaline. I am covered in flour (and it is flour, I swear) because i’ve just had a huge pre-order come in. When the sun comes out the public do not mess around when it comes to their munch. The only way is North BABY!!

If the weather man is correct, this week is set to be beautiful. I took advantage of the sun yesterday by going on a cycle with my pooch. Me on the road, him on the pavement. Pedestrians looking round wondering ‘who does this collie belong to?’. Bring on the sunshine, we’re ready.
