Do you ever do online shopping and you’re at the check out looking at your basket and you just stop and think ‘what am I doing? I don’t need this.’ and just close your browser? I do this often. Mainly because I remember it’s all overpriced, mass produced shite that I can get second hand in good condition and at a better price. What a wasteful society.
Salads:
Veggie lentil curry
Crispy tofu rice
Spinach + pea pesto pasta
BBQ Jackfruit salad
Soup: Tuscan tomato
Mother doesn’t enjoy IKEA food which really makes me question her palette. It’s possibly the most sophisticated grub you can get in London, she must just have stupidly high standards…how dare she insult IKEA food.

Korean spiced chicken noodles
Soup: Leek · potato + chive

I threw milk all over myself this morning, i’d like to think I looked like Fergie in M.I.L.F. We’re off to the wonderous world of IKEA tonight. I love an IKEA dinner, it’s controversial in my family but quite frankly I don’t give a damn, the more meatballs the merrier!
Salads:
Chilli non carne
Lemon + herb rice
Spinach · cauliflower + cashew pesto pasta
Bacon + potato stewy goodness

Morning my little chipolatas! You’re all being very sarcastic today and I love it. The weather is definitely having an effect on the public. This could be the result of climate change but personally I think that’s all a myth.

Panzanella
Soup: Turmeric roasted tomato

Finally some weather that kind of feels like summer. I was out all weekend. One of my highlights was Moose and I in Richmond park, I was on my bike and he was trotting along beside me. It was gangster. I vowed one thing when I bought a bike… I will not be one of those lycra cyclists that think everyday is tour de France.
Salads:
Mexican beans
Edamame + crispy shallot rice
Chicken + Beef ragu pasta
Thai curry
Soup: Cream of brassicas
Last night proved how important service is in a restaurant, the food was decent but there was no passion. This weekend I intend to teach moose how to run with a bike. He’s a very competitive boy, it took me a while to teach him that when I’m jogging I don’t want him to chase me and bite my ankles.

Miso rice
Roast vegetable ragu pasta
Sandwich: Spicy salame, Fontina cheese, Onion relish + tomato

I had a strange phone call yesterday after we closed. The person on the other end just kept saying my full name in a cheeky tone and then hung up. There was no caller ID and I can’t figure out who it is but it was kind of creepy. That’s just fans I guess…

Me and the voices in my head thought it would be a good idea to go on a bike ride last night. It started pouring down on my journey. It was actually weirdly fun. I imagined myself in an action movie racing against a timer. The rain was pounding down flattening my curls and I blasted insomnia by Faithless then sandstorm by Darude. I’d make a great action hero.

Sun dried tomato + artichoke rice
Mushroom ragu pasta
Cracked wheat salad

There’s always less people on the streets when it’s raining. This morning I didn’t see anyone on my way to work it felt like an apocalypse had taken place. I think i’d survive an apocalypse though I don’t know why you’d want to everyone you know, love and even hate would be gone.

I’d like to remind everyone that it is August. You might have forgotten because of the miserable weather, also the first half of this year has flown by so fast you might have lost track. This morning has consisted mainly of dancing as we’ve been quite quiet so i’m in a great mood. Please don’t ruin it. I’m talking to you Karen

Tonight the family is going to Tooting for Chinese. Joking I am. Tooting means Indian, to me at least. I’ve heard there are some good spots in the market celebrating other cuisines but I’m easily put off when I see a sea of man buns and Aperol spritz glasses…

Thai coconut curry with aduki beans + sweet potato
Seaweed rice
Roast squash ragu pasta
BBQ pork potato + bean thing

It’s August…you could have fooled me! Yesterday I got asked about the ‘August close’. You’ll be happy to know the deli does not plan to close down for 5 weeks and leave you all stranded in your own kitchens with a spice rack you only bought for aesthetics.

What did I do this weekend? Sleep. I had plans I just missed them all! I don’t know what happened whenever I sat down I was asleep within minutes. I didn’t realise I was exhausted. I think i’m revitalised now but if you catch me napping at work don’t wake me…I bite.

When considering what dog is right for you take into consideration how energetic the breed is. Last night at 1am when I was trying to get some rest my dog used me as a step to stare out the window. The animal I feed and keep safe stood on my back to watch the birds and the bees #truelove?
