Day 615 Breaking my nuts

Good morrow my little nutcrackers. We’re about to hit the final month of the year. I always try and go into December with the mentality that my monthly wage will be sacrificed for festive fun. This weekend I managed to spend my monthly budget and none of it was Christmas presents. When will I learn.

I fulfilled a childhood wish yesterday and dined at Benihana. It was everything I wanted it to be. I was fed and given a show. I think I have the finesse to work there. If you see me in the corner flipping Parma ham and smacking avocado just know I’m training for my next role.

Day 613 Keep calm

My professionalism is sometimes a little questionable. Yesterday I vacated shop floor because a customer insinuated that I wasn’t serving very well. I decided to bite my tongue and step away rather than explaining to said customer why they are inconsiderate and just wrong.

I had a lovely dinner last night so I want to hype the restaurant. Roti King (I think they have a couple locations) is the kind of restaurant that makes me love dining out. It’s good food at a reasonable price and I can’t make it at home. Add it to your list and go.

Qatar is obviously trending at the moment so all my social media feeds come up with different views regarding the country. It’s so interesting how powerful they are but no one seemed to have any qualms until FIFA gave them the world cup.

Come on Iran is all have have to say regarding the football. I listened to a Christmas song this weekend and I still feel slightly ashamed. I thought I’d note down my unacceptable behaviour on this forum so I don’t forget this disgraceful moment. This is me repenting my sins. Christmas music in November is a no no.

Some weird coincidences have taken place recently. You know when you’re thinking about someone you haven’t spoken or thought about in a while and just all of a sudden they text you. That’s happened multiple times this week and now i’ve got this weird unsettled feeling. My chakras are off.

My bangers were delicious, thank you for asking. It’s been quite busy this morning so we’re a little up against it going into the rush. I feel like I should capitalise The Rush because at this point it’s more of a show, an event that takes place daily at 26 North street.

Day 605 Manic Monday

The warmth of my bed was too hard to resist this morning and now it’s a manic Monday. The fridge sounds like a rattle snake so I need to attend to that and apparently our beast of a car has a safety issue. And there I was thinking it would be a quiet day…

Honey child give me my go go juice because today is going to be testing. We ran out of bread yesterday at 2pm. I hate having to tell people that they can’t wrap their lips around one of our sexy sandwiches so today we’re stacked to the rafters with glutenous glory.

Day 603 step through the pain

I’ve hurt my leg but I thought it was better so I went on a trek last night with the pooch. By the end of the walk I looked like I had a peg leg and now i’m in pain again. Good job Micky. I hope there’s no surprises today because i’m feeling a little drained both emotionally and physically.

I got to work early this morning and faceplanted into our mountain of vegetables that we have delivered in the night. It really woke me up let me tell you. Other than that it’s been a relatively normal morning. You know, general conflict, chaos and banter.

I love catering canape-esc parties. I say ‘esc’ because I don’t like little fuddy duddy mouthfuls of food but I do like little bites that pack a punch. I’m going to stay in this weekend because I feel my social battery fading and rather than having a breakdown at a dinner party I think it’s best if I hide away from the world.

I shot out of bed this morning and ran to work (because I overslept) however I arrived in a great mood. That feeling might wear away after a while but the adrenaline so early in the morning was exhilarating. Maybe if a add a double shot of coffee to my system, i’ll develop super powers.

If I ever become a parent I will use Halloween as an educational opportunity. Why would I just buy some polyester piece of shite to be worn once so my child can get mini confectionaries from the neighbours? I’d make my child research someone from history and then if they want to go trick or treating they can make they’re own costume based of their findings.
